Why go to therapy, can’t I just talk to a friend?

Unlike friends, psychotherapists are trained to listen and to do so, on many different levels. That skill can significantly benefit your growth. Also, your therapist is not personally invested in the outcome of your therapy. He or she acts as an impartial outsider, accepting all of what you bring.

What is your confidentiality policy?

Everything we discuss during the sessions is confidential. Exceptions apply, you will be informed about them in the first session.

How long are sessions and how often do they take place?

Sessions last 60 minutes and take place once a week for the duration of the contract.

Where are you based?

I am based online.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions take place via Skype or another video facility internationally. 

What is your fee?

An initial consultation of 30 minutes is complimentary. Ongoing sessions cost £60.

How late can I cancel a session?

Sessions can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance, after that they must be paid for.

Can I have therapy in my own language?

Sessions can take place in EnglishPortuguese or French.
